Hello everybody! I know that I haven’t updated a lot lately. But luckily, the school year is coming to an end so soon enough, I’ll have all day to update! But for now, we’ll just have to wait until July for constant updates. Because even though I don’t get exams (since i’m still in middle school: 8th) I get loads of work during the last month. It really sucks but I get through. So stayed tuned for loads of new reviews coming soon!

My Thoughts:
I wasn’t overly intrigued by this novel but it wasn’t as bad as I thought it was going to be. Going into this book, I knew that there would be grueling fights. But with the help of some good ole’ foreshadowing, it was simple to figure out who the winner would be. I hate when you can easily foreshadow a book. But this particular book, I wasn’t able to absolutely predict it.
So, this book was basically my first book set in a fantasy world, not including Harry Potter. it was nice to have a little switch from Urban Fantasy. I really enjoyed how the whole book took place in different places; starting out in the Endovier Salt Mines and then moving all the way to the castle. Bonus** the book includes a map so its like a total score!
I always lead towards liking main characters best but, for once, that didn’t happen. I fell in love with Nehemia’s character. She was so unique compared to everyone else at the castle and was such an amazing companion to Celaena. And god I am so screwed. Dorian or Chaol? Who to choose? Okay, so in my opinion, I think that Chaol and Celaena are amazing together. But, then again, I also really liked Dorian.
